    Default Help again please

My assessor has set me my next piece of work for Task 6 but changed it to a scenario. I have parents coming to look around my setting, once they've looked around they have a few questions about routine. How will my setting meet the childrens needs, their needs and how the children are included in my setting. Then she has put that one child has mild speech and language delays and the other is autistic. I can choose the ages of the children - when can you first notice the delays and autism in children? I've never dealt with either and don't know where to start.
    Please help me again.
    Thankyou. X

firstly I would look at how you would tell parents about your routines, how you would ask about theirs and any concerns about how you will match up the two.

For speech and language delay, look at the EYFS development points hon. You would notice concerns if they were not displaying ANY signs of things you would expect to see within their crossover age ranges.

For autism and signs to look for, I would borrow a book from the library hon or look at the charity websites and associations that offer advice on autism good luck x
if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got
