    Default CRB Checks

    Hi there,

I wonder if somebody could tell me whether this is correct or not.

I have always been under the impression you have to pay for your CRB checks but just been told by ofsted cust. services that Ofsted cover the cost for them and pay for them???

News to me, or am I behind the times!

Yes Ofsted pay for them and any that your assistants need if you ever employ any.

    thanks for the reply!

Thats really weird, but also made me very happy obviously! All this time I was under the impression I paid for them.

From attending the pre registration meeting with the local authority to attending the childminders training course we were told that we pay for them, I have it written down that it would cost £40 each crb!

    Strange x
