what on earth happened from 3pm yesterday.....

had a call from lady wanting childcare for the next ay (today). argh.
i took the plunge and said call round we can have a chat, and all that.
she is signed there and then, OMIGOD.
mon to fri 12 -6 pick up from pre school.
but i suggested t meet her at the school friday as i cannot help to today with my job and i certainly am not jsut going to turn up at his school ( one i dont know) and take him home.

it so happens that his first day with me, will be his 4th birthday. OH MY.
not sure i would have done this, but hey thats me. im sure we will have fun all the same. pick up a little cake for after tea. shall i get him a little something , i feel i should.

OMG!! Great news for you, bit odd that the mum is happy to meet you once and be prepared to leave him straight away for so many hours, and on his birthday, bless him! Each to their own though.

I would get him a little something too. We have a great shop near us, B&M, they do craft packs with paints and 8 posters (Ben 10, etc) for under £1!! Wilco is also really good for craft packs, I've got all my mindees a pack for Christmas, they're 98p!! (makes me sound like a right cheap skate! lol)

Must be something in the air as I had a lady on Monday who wanted to come that night for me to take her child the next day, when I couldnt see her that night she then asked if i could take him on Tuesday anyway.
I said I didnt feel comfortable doing this. So she is coming tonight when I have my dd and niece here to discuss everything. Hope all goes well as he is also my first mindee too..
