my through lounge is my play area, i havent got a designated room but I dont mind having toys all over the place as my own children are still young.

I do have a playhouse that is set up with a kitchen, table and chairs but it also houses bikes and scooters when not in use.

Mine is in the process of being built ie a conservatory.

Storage wise, I have one Trofast Unit (the one that goes tall to small) that I got free from *****. I am hoping to get another one done when my conservatory is built.

Have given OH deadline of Easter Holidays to have it ready!!!

Hope this link works, my picks aren't great, it was getting dark, and they don't really show the size of the rooms but you can see the messyroom and the playroom.

just tried link, it works ok!! ish, never used photobucket before.

The messy room we have tiled floor large table in centre, small boxes on wall for all craft bits and bobs pens, pencils, scissors, collage stuff all at easy access.
cupboard with paper drying rack above and colour sacks hanging from ceiling.
and then just low level sink and paints.

Playroom has everything storred in boxes with photos on all at low level easy access and purposed built storage for specific items.
and the usual home corner type thing.

Think that covers it a bit.

Just added some daylight pictures, looks lots better now

I want a playroom!!!!! They all look so brilliant!!! I hate my dining room being turned into a nursery but can't stand having to put everything away at the week-end and then get it all back out again ready for monday, so it tends to stay up! I would love a dedicated room that I can close the door on, but some silly machine keeps picking the wrong lottery numbers!!

Well, my playroom was supposed to be a dining room! I have a small lounge with kitchen attached on one end of it. There is no room anywhere for a normal size table and chairs, so I made a big sacrifice to have a playroom really! But I wouldnt change it for the world! I eat my dinner on my lap after they have all gone home!

    very nice Monkey

one day if I get rich I can change my through lounge into 2 rroms so I can close the door too, problem is I have a 5 foot fish tank in the back lounge and the floor area is rather narrow, I cant demand my hubby to get rid of his tank.
