    Default 'Rushing it through'

We were booked on the Pre Reg briefing session on dec 17th. We wouldnt be given anything then just told what CMing involves and then given until Feb to think about it.

I rang our local 'lady' explained that we were working in a nursery that is closing, we have children waiting and is there any other way we could do it.

She rang me back today saying they had arranged something for December 5th 9-11.30 where we would go through everything and then be given the forms/pack on the same day!!

Im so happy.(and a bit nervous)

We already have 1st aid and safguarding children from our current job which is a bonus so its just the ICP course to do

We want to try and get all our policies written and things ready for our pre reg inspection

Was it a 12hr pediatric first aid course as that is what ofsted want. The other paperwork could be anything to do with the services they offer. We got a leaflet on the toy library, sure start, insurances etc. We didnt get the cRB forms until the preinspection from ofsted.

I'm glad they have taken a positive approach for you.

Its the 12 hour early years first aid done over 2 saturdays with an exam at the end.

It was done through my current job(nursery nurse) and our training manual says suitable for all childcare practitioners eg nursery nurses and childminders so im presuming this will be ok. I am also booked onto refresh in March
