I went to look at some people carriers at the weekend....It was down to the VW Touran and the Scenic 7 seater... scenic won by a mile off...it really nice..reminds me of my old Clio. Sadly cant afford a new one but i think a 2 or 3 yr old one is on the cards...Im actually excited about it. We even checked that it fits on the drive as dh has a VW Passat so 2 big cars on the drive would be a squeeze but it does.....woohoo. I can't believe I would ever be excited about selling my Mini!

i have a vauxhall zafira this is a 7 seater but the road tax is not high you need to watch that when you buy a 7 seater round my area there is 5 childminders with the same

i have a toyota corolla verso ... its great, use it as a 5 seater with decent boot 99% of the time, then it has 2 seats in the boot as and when needed! but we walk most of the time!

i used to have a hyundi trajet, and it was HUGE, 7 seats, but i didn't like it! had it a year and lots of niggles,

before that had a toyota picnic for 5 yrs, no problems! it was only traded in cos DH got bored! so went back to toyota! i love it!

only problem is ... about a zillion of them around!

I have a mercedes ML 280 but I want to change it for the grand cherokee jeep as I like this more!. I know people frown upon 4x4's but i'd be lost without mine. Its luxurious, roomy, really comfortable. Previous to this we had a chrysler grand voyager which was lovely, and before that I had a VW Beetle. Thinking back I wonder how i ever managed with it as it was tiny and it was a nightmare trying to get the little ones in and out of the back.
