I have a Zafira which was brought for childminding as the 206 was too small although now it is mostly used for shopping .
I tend to walk to school and back regardless of how bad the weather is.
I'd love a newer car, just can't seem to justify it though

Escort cosworth - but not for minding. Hubby wouldn't have it (his pride and joy) - besides I don't drive
I have a 2002 Nissan Terrano II, I love it but would reallllllllly like a Nissan Pathfinder, hubby has a 306 we use as a family but need my car for childminding and towing our twin axle caravan. It does have seven seats but really small boot when the back seat is down.
I have a Kia sedona - quite a bigish boot - buggys and bags and wellies!
Looks a bit like the chrysler but much cheaper

I have a clio for childminding (dont like driving big cars) and had front air bag turned off. We have a bmw as our family car x
I have a vauxhall meriva, 5 seats and large boot space (can fit both my doubles in, whereas I couldn't get either into my old astra). I made a conscious decision not to upgrade to a 7/8 seater. I live close to school so don't need it for the school run and I like to be able to keep trips out to a manageable 4 children. Also when I have 6 or more, the age range I have is so huge that finding somewhere that all the kids can enjoy is very difficult and you know how it is....the older they are the more they complain (particularly your own!! )
ps if I've got 6 or more we don't stay in all day (honest ) but keep to local park, walks in the nearby woods etc
In cloud cuckoo land somewhere
I have a citroen c8. i did hate it when the turbo went but i love it again now its got 7 seats and a decent size boot. It also has eletric sliding doors which are great when its raining they can be open for when you get to car to throw them all in.

Mazda 5 Sport - 7 seats and sliding doors. Got rid of a Zafira for this and its fab!

Oh I feel Im not part of the club! I only have a Renault Laguna, but it has no passenger airbag so I can fit 4 kiddie seats in it. Huge boot, can fit a dble & sgle buggy in it as well as some shoping and a spare car seat

I have a Citroen C8 too but could now do with an 8 seater some days but can't afford to change it at the moment as paying for the other car which is a new style Fiat punto which DH uses. Decided it would be cheaper to gt an assistant for days when busy and DH is working so problems collecting DD.

i have a zafira, its economical on fuel and cheap tax (w plate ) and insurance, and the parts are cheap 2, just had the cam belt done and it was less than £200, only downside is there is not a lot of boot space, room for a buggy and a couple of bags when all the seats r up but thats only when i am minding so not really a problem and you have to slide the middle seats forward to put the boot seats up (so bit of a pain if youve got baby seats in) so i normally have all 7 up mon-fri , also vauxall airbags cant be disabled so cant have any children in front passenger seat,we r looking to update and i would definatley buy one again ,
I drive a Landrover Discovery, 7 seater, 08 model... Amazing car.
However I recently tried the vauxhall zafira 08 reg and found that a fantastic drive. Not as big as the disco but if you want value for money, a nice easy drive, lots of room, leg space and head space, I am tall! than in my humble opinion this is the car to go for. You can get one of these a couple of years old at the moment for more or less half price.
well ive a mini one, I love it to bits and really don't want to have to trade it in for a bigger car. Ive been minding 2 months and only have 2 part time mindees at the moment so i can fit 2 kids in the back fine and generally don't use the car if i have the 3 kids together. I know we will need to look for a bigger car next year but can't afford much and need something that is cheap to run and cheap to tax too.
I also think i would stuggle parking a big car
I have a 7 seater Ford Galaxy.
Must be honest that I do tend to walk as much as possible now........as well as great exercise (especially for my legs!) it saves me a fortune on fuel!
