Nursery World magazine are looking to speak to newly registering childminders who are having problems with lengthy DBS checks...

They want to highlight the problem in a future magazine article and hopefully speed things up.

Please reply to this thread if you are happy to speak to a journalist about any problems you might be having or have had recently.

This might be too late, but I'm completely in that boat - the met have had mine and my husband's dbs since April. So frustrating as I just can't do anything until they come back, but I'm all ready to go!
