Honestly Im betting that every member who has recently registered will have different time scales especially with the dbs. Some are done very quickly some have very long waits.

It's so difficult to say. It really varies between each person.
I have recently registered and during the 18 week course with the local authority 30 of us applied around the same time.
Some (including me) had the DBS completed in 3 weeks and some waited between 10-12 weeks.

From applying to ofsted and them coming it took about 4 weeks x

Hi, I have sent my DBS and am awaiting this before I can send my application to ofsted too. Annoyingly I already have a current DBS for my current work!

Hi, last night I decided to register to the online update service and this morning I received an email stating my DBS cert is complete. May be a coincidence but worth a try!
However, I've just gone to my ofsted application to send it off and discovered I need Darren's DBS cert number now too! So I'm going to register him to the online update service too and see if it works again! One of these days I'll be able to press send on my application and it will go through!!!
