    Default Library

    Hi all

This might be in the wrong place ...sorry if is

I'm sure that I have read on hear or it might have been some were else, that childminders can take out more books once you have taken your reg cert down there ect.

Well I have just been in to my library to get that sorted and they looked at me as if I was a total nut case!!!.....

    Am I right .....probley not??????

I also asked if I could put my advertising card on the notice bord and they said no..so not a very good trip, apart from the big dino poster that I got for a quid ...looks great in the play room

H i Nat our library allows childminders to register as a playgroup so we can take out more books and keep them for a longer time. Maybe contact the Library local head office to ask if you can in your area let us know how you get on .

Our library won't let us put a ad up either

    Good luck

Yes I can take more books out... I just sign the children up for cards - with parents permission of course!

No, they won't let me advertise... they say it's to stop the deluge.

i got most of my posters from the library, they are really cheap.

    Ours won't let us advertise.

We don't have a limit on books for children anyway.

We can take 12 books out on one card so I haven't worried about telling them I'm a childminder because I think that's plenty enough books to lose and forget to return! Ha ha!

I love the Library! We go to story time every week. They read about three or four stories to the kids and then they do a related activity, great for free! They also get a sticker on a collectors card and when they get to five they get a beautiful certificate! The children have their own cards and i take the books back for them and help them choose some more x

Our library also lets me take out more books and not pay any fines.

    Worth trying again
