    Default Pre reg visit today

Had my pre reg visit this morning and just wanted to share how lovely and relaxed it was. I was expecting it to be like an interview but wasn't. I had filled in my pre reg booklet but only had to use it to tell her the activities for the different ages/dev areas, as I had done it yesterday most of the answers were fresh in my mind and quite a lot were in my policies & procedures which we looked through together, when I went to find out what my son & neice were up to she carried on and answered some more questions for me. The walk round the house was really quick and told me I will need fire blanket, first aid kit and drain covers. The advice on here has helped lots with all the prep. Just need to wait for certificate now, so glad it's finally all done and can finally get on with buying bits & pieces.

That's great news, well done! I'm really nervous about my pre-reg visit, I know the EYFS pretty well after constant revision but I haven't got all the resources I would like to have so I'm hoping that won't stop me getting registered x

You don't need everything as long as you can tell them the sorts if things you want/need that will be fine. It's best not to get too much stuff as you don't know what age children you will be looking after, just get bits as and when needed once registered. Good luck :-)

That's made me feel much more relieved! Thank-you xx
