Be good to get a profile on there though, as people will start looking for childcare for that time if they are currently on mat leave. I'm pretty sure that's where I found my first childminder so it does work x

Oh that's rubbish. I'm going to parent and toddler groups etc so will start advertising in that way. And I know a couple of childminders locally so if they haven't got space have said they will pass on my details.

I think I've finished task 5 although reading through I haven't mentioned food prep etc, so think I need to go back and include that. I've looked at all the other tasks and don't have a clue where to start

I'm loving the course and I wouldn't describe it as difficult as it's is everything I do with my kids but it's actually writing it down and explaining it.

Think the parent has to make first contact with you. But they will get a notification that you have looked at their profile so fingers crossed they will email you

I can't wait to get going. I have a night shift tomorrow and Tuesday though so if it does come through tomorrow I prob wont get much done till Wednesday/Thursday! Bring it on though hehe xxx

Quick question and help if you can. On task 5, what did you do for keeping up to date, apart from researching the health and safety executive I dont know what else to write.

Thank you so obvious really but mind went completely blank haha

For task 5 I've done a section on hygiene in the home, food prep, supervision, risk assessments and keep up to date. Basically just went through the book and used that.

Oh I also put a sentence in about car seats and the latest guidelines to use rear facing until their 4. It's not in the textbook but thought it should external research haha x

Fab about car seats! Always best to include more as shows your knowledge and understanding and that you've done your research xx

Oh no I didn't, but I have included that in the policies in task 2. I might put something in this task too. I'm aiming to be finished by Sunday so have to spend nearly every night on it, although I might have tonight off, if lil one has a decent nap this morning I might get a bit more done x

I got loads of post-it notes it just putting everything together!
