It's not too bad, I've looked at the first couple of tasks and started answering, but haven't had loads of time where I can concentrate on it. Once the kids are in bed tonight I'll be sitting down and properly getting through it.

I've mainly be concentrating on the policies, It asks you to write accident, illness and emergency policy, behaviour policy, equal opportunities policy and safeguarding. A childminder friend of mine told me to look at Bromley councils childminding website. They have loads of sample policies so might be worth getting ahead and starting those before all ur stuff comes through

Not too bad. I've done the following:

Accident, illness and emergency policy (but I've split them into 3 separate policies as think it's better than 1 as there's so much to cover.

    Equal opps policy

    Behaviour policy

    Safeguarding policy

How to administer medicines - but again done this as a policy?? Not sure if that's right .

For task 1, how did u present this did you just do this as a written document?

    How u getting on?

    Hopefully it will be ok.

I did a fact sheet on legislation and bullet pointed the key points of The data protection act, children act, the childcare act and equality act. I think I should've done Riddor though.

I then did a fact sheet about ofsted, and summerised the key points in the 4 areas.

I'm worried it's not right. Submitted the policies tonight, but really confused now as session 2 refers to the accident, illness and emergency policy! Should I not have submitted that yet?

With 1.1 I explained what you said except I didn't do RIDDOR either and it was fine. I did poster on Ofsted and four points. And separate sheet on what I do for Anjum parents - change literature, take Anjum to toddler groups help with social language development. Take longer to help her settle in. Ask parents about her culture and give them advice on services that can help them.

Task 5 - Section 2 is more about safety checks in house/emergency plans.

You will find as course goes on different topics overlap into others xx
