Had my pre reg visit today!
Arrived at 11.30 left just after 2pm

And shes recommending me to be a childminder! So so happy!!! :-)

If im honest you do not need to be nervous! Altho easier said than done as i did not sleep well last night lol but My lady was lovely even made her a coffee ;-)

Its quite relaxed and you can read from your notes in your pre reg booklet. And refer to any PP you have and also and Planning sheets you have.

I had a 'dummy' folder with ILP and Starting points in.

Also make sure you know about 'being school ready' as i was asked about this as its a new focus point Ofsted are really looking at.

And how we communicate with parents and other care providers.

I would say, make sure you know your development matters and safeguarding to a 'T' as this is what 90% of the visit centred around.

I did set out a few activities just to jog my memory.

I cant remember what else but if i do ill let you know.

Just relax and have everything you need have to hand.
