    Default how to advertise

Hi I have completed my pre-reg training and am waiting on a visit from my local council in 2 weeks then fingers crossed i wait for Ofsted. I am just wondering how people avertised and filled their places. I know i have a wait-maybe November or Decemeber to be actually registered if everything goes ok, but i also know parents begin to look for childcare months in advance before returning to work etc. I guess really im wondering if there is anything i can start doing now to help in filling future places??
Any advice/help would be most grateful
    thank you
    Katy

    Hi.

Well in my experience I applied last may, had my Pre reg visit 4th July. My certificate arrived yesterday. So, ur right it takes months. As for advertisement, I started contacting parents before, but seems They all found a childminder. I only post on childcare.co.uk, gumtree.com, shop nearby.

So I'm keeping all my fingers cross & toes that I'll have one to start with this September.

    Good luck to you.
