Will I EVER receive my certificate?!

Oh this is getting beyond a joke now.
I have called Ofsted twice asking where it is and they just say "no reason why you shouldn't have received it yet, it should be with you shortly"... today I received a pack from my local children's information service saying "congratulations we hear from Ofsted you are a newly registered childminder"
They are telling other people before me!

maybe its got lost in the post? you usually have to sign for them, so it should be able to be tracked. ask if they can track it for you/send you another one? ( ask what address they sent it to, the last inspection i had, the inspector went to the house i had moved from 18mths before even though ofsted had sent stuff to my 'new' address !!! somehow it was all a bit muddled on the system!)

i think that when they send you your certificate, they notify your local authority as well.

Make the most of it! Lots of people wait weeks before hearing from their local authority!

Ring them again and again and again - ask for a duplicate. Good luck!

it took 3 weeks for me to get mine too ! ring them up if it been sent over a week ago the will start to trace it
