Default I've had to terminate a contract tonight :-(

Cut a long story short, i have been minding a 10 yr old boy after school for the past month. He has Aspergers Syndrome. His behaviour has been so disruptive. He does not listen to a word I say, he ignores me and carries on when I tell him no. I have no special needs training and I thought that I would be able to cope with him but I couldn't. He is always fighting with the other 2 lads I mind, he has no respect for my home constantly throwing things around the house etc...The final straw came tonight when he was in the back garden and threw a large rock at my dining room window. How it didn't smash the glass I have no idea. I was feeding my 10 month old daughter at the time and if that rock had smashed my window it would've hot her and most likely killed her. I am so upset and shaken as to what could've happened so I terminated the contract tonight with his mom as of immediate effect. My question is, where do I stand moneywise? She pays weekly in advance and has paid up until tomorrow but as I won't be having him tomorrow, do I owe her the money? I'm sure I probably do but just want to check first. Thanks for reading xx

Whether you have to refund the days money or not depends what you have written in your contacts but I'd ring your insurers in the morning and see what they advise. It might be less hassle to refund the money.

Hope you're OK, it must have been a very scary time for you
