Had my pre-reg visit!

Ohhh Myyy Godddd!!

It was AWFUL. The inspector was LOVELY, very helpful, explaining things, nothing but compliments on my home etc....it was my daughter that made it horrible! She is 19 months old and funny with strangers, some she loves and will go and "chat" with and show toys, others she hates and will scream and tantrum
And that was how it was for the whole two hours she was here, my daughter obviously didn't like this "strange" lady coming into her home and no matter how I tried to distract her, toys, snacks even put the TV on at one point - Cbeebies to the rescue (or so I thought) nothing helped, she wanted the Ofsted lady to go!

She said I can obviously cope with stressful situations and thinks I will do very well as a childminder

Bless her!! Maybe not have little one around when doing first parent interviews
