Having my pre-reg visit monday!

The inspector sounded so nice on the phone, it was funny as she called me from her mobile her house phone rang and she said "oh i'm sorry about that in the background, I don't normally work from home" then as it went to answerphone I could hear the message being recorded loudly in the background and she sounded all flustered apologising for the disruption - I said it is fine, it's normally my daughter causing noise when I'm on the phone

I have almost finished filling in the pre-reg visit booklet thingy (oh it is awful i can't remember what it is called now ) but was wondering what other paperwork she will be looking for?

She said she will like to find out my knowledge of the EYFS and basically have a walk around discussing safety and safety on outings.

Hi, i had the call on tues and shes not coming until tues 1st may. Quite pleased as that gives me loads of prep time! I have wrote all my policies and procedures and have risk assessed both my house and outings i will be going on-they like to see these! I have also sorted out the paperwork i will be giving parents, including 'all about me' form. I too have filled in the prep booklet. I dont think they expect much more paperwork than that, unless someone knows different?! I have also heard that the paperwork will be getting cut down this year too?! Also, enabling Mrs O to understand how exactly you plan to support the children in your care, through using the EYFS and how you plan on keeping them safe. Good luck, all this hard work and preparation will pay off im sure! Im very excited
