And it begins!

I was informed that I was registered the end of last week, finally, after 9mths of waiting/being impatient.

I have a 6mth old little boy starting his settling in sessions with me tomorrow, and he officially starts next week. I am very much looking forward to it, which is a bit daft perhaps as I've always been in childcare and education (nursery nurse and primary teacher) but this feels different - being in charge of your own business is very exciting, the only thing I'm anxious about is getting more mindees.

Horray, at last let's go, let's go!

I'm back with the update. Mum didn't leave baby as expected. She stayed with him and it was very obvious as she made herself comfy on the sofa and had a cuppa. She's coming again tomorrow and we've agreed to leave the baby with me for a couple of hours and Mum to go and do her own thing. I think she's anxious about this but I assured her I'd send a text update.

I've already been paid for the month and fees weren't due until next week. Baby is lovely and I don't think we'll have any problems settling him.
