I have a 17-month old girl lined up for when I'm registered and I would like advice on what to do regarding planning activities, observations, etc. I've read all the literature but would like to know I will be on the right track. What kind of things would YOU do?

Spend the first few weeks observing and then follow her interests.
Plan exciting activities that follow on from what you know she enjoys.
Go on outings and adventures and enjoy each others company
