I had my inspection the other day and was not told to put insurance up on the wall my reg cert was up along with the poster....
The inspector didnt pick up on it at all yet she asked to see the reg cert and poster..

Does it realy have to be on the wall? Iv been minding for almost 5 years and just have it in the folder that I show parents and not my development worker or ofsted have said anything just asked if I have it. I think everyone gets told different things and thats so confusing

It is my understanding that at the moment you do not have to display PL cert but you do when EYFS comes into force so I would put it up now so you don't forget

My inspector looked for it at my inspection this week. Luckily it was up on the wall!
I thought it was best practice to put it up on your wall?
I'm sure when I worked in an office every building had to have a copy of it on display in the entrance.
OOHHH glad i read this, i dont have mine on wall, just in file.
Have registration cert and poster up on show.
Will have to put insurance cert up too then, mind you ofsted didnt question it whn they came 6 months ago.

When I was inspected I just had it in my folder although since then I've put it in a frame on the playroom wall along with all the other certificates we have to display.

I have laminated my PL cert, Ofsted poster and certificate and blu-tacked them to the wall.
Do all these things have to be displayed somewhere where they will be seen as soon as someone comes into the house or could I have a notice board up in my spare room for example which I will be using as a play room?
