how would you link indepentantly doing a puzzle with 45peices to development matters, I know its PRSN but am looking for a sentence from dm, child is 3yrs 11mnths but has prevously only done 12 or 24 peice puzzles,, we got this new one out yesterday and without any help she sat for 20mins and did it all by herself! considering mum thinks she has ADHD I think she did very well

You can't always fit obs with a sentence from EYFS - I agree it's PSRN but you could also fit it to PSED (Dispositions and Attitudes 40 - 60m) "Persist for extended periods of time at an activity of their own choosing"

Like Miffy says the Development Matters document does not have a sentence for every eventuality. Sometimes it's best fit - Psed concentrating / Psr&n shapes / Pd fine motor skills.

    Well done little one!
