    Default chicken pox

One of the lo's has come down with chilcken pox, I had him yesterday and noticed he wasn't well, I informed mum and she collected him early. She's text today to say he had a temp of 39 last night and took him to hospital where he came out in a 'rash' and she was told it was chicken pox. Do I need to inform other parents that the lo has chicken pox?

    Yes I would.

You shouldn't name the child - just " a child from the setting has been diagnosed with chickenpox".

the parents need to be aware so they can moniter their own children for symptoms.
