after schoolies??

I only have after school and before school kids at the mo

I dont do in depth observations on them but they all each have a photo book with picures of what they get up to and a quick quote and date for each one

My question is what happens when they come to you in the holidays do i need to be doing in depth obersvations (linking to EYFS and next steps) for this time

You only need to be doing obs on EYFS children. Over 6's officially need nothing although it's nice to keep a photo book.

I am assuming these children are in reception? You should be planning next steps and observing these children as you would any other children who come into the eyfs. Obviously proportionality to the time you have them in your care, so if they are full time in the holidays you would obviously have more opportunity to make observations than say if you only have them one hour a day after school.
