Sharing place with another childminder

I am not sure if I am starting this thread in the proper area. Was just hoping somebody could help or advise. I would like to be a childminder and have a baby of my own. However I cant do it in my place, so was wondering if anybody knows how to find another childminder who would be willing to
share their place with me if i offer a certain percentage of my earnings?

Welcome to the forum! Don't worry about where you put things... general childminding chat where I have popped your post works for most things. You will get a feel for the forum as you get to know your way around a bit more.

Do you mean you want to work with another childminder as their assistant?

well..not exactly. i was hoping to register myself as a childminder with shared premises. well childcare assistant looks good too if they will allow my baby in too. any ideas where i can get more details about that?

You could try your Early Years Department at the Local Authority or the Families Information Centre, they might be able to help

I know of a registered childminder who minds at another Minders home, not sure how they work the financial side though .
