We had the glitter glue out earlier... it went everywhere!

I am not feeling strong enough for the glitter yet. I need to build up to it gently

Yes another glitter hater here. We made angels this morning and used sequins and tinsel but I just couldn't face the glitter.

We made Christmas cards today, didn't use any glitter whatsoever, but still ended up with it all over our faces!!! It must just be loose in the craft box!

Why don't you all like glitter?
We've had it in our sand for a week or so now, and kids have it in the bits and pieces box year round.

I found glitter spray in Savers, so I thought that would be great, far less messy!!! Except my 20 year old son got hold of it and decided he would make the tree I have on the wall look frosty - got it everywhere!!! To be honest it does look nice and you don't find bits everywhere for weeks, just don't let a 20 year old loose with it!!!!!!

I have been doing Christmas activities this week and so far been glitter free.
Will no doubt have to get it down from the top cupboard at some point.
I don't know what it is about my floor but it stays on there for weeks!!!!

I have just read this thread out to my DH, it has been the only thing he has ever whinged about. Does not mind the general toy mess, the travel cot in our room, the pram in the hallway etc.

But the GLITTER he can't stand it, it gets all over the house

OMG...what is wrong with you all

Glitter is fabulous! Barely a day goes by when we're not sprinkling it about. Parents are now used to having piles of glitter in their cars where half of it falls off on the way home

And children are regularly going home with sparkly hair or glittery clothes.

Had to chuckle when I saw this post. I feel exactly the same. I hate the stuff. I do let them use it but it drives me insane. It hangs around for weeks.

Oh well...it's Christmas, bring on the glitter

This topic comes up every Christmas - as does the sand debate in the summer

I use glitter glue/paint for the littlies - mine are under 3s. Can't bare it over the carpets but like the sparkle.
