    Default Laminators

I'm planning to buy a lamintor tomorrow. I've noticed that woolies have ones for about £12, does anyone know if it's any good? Also, really daft question - can you still photocopy something once its laminated, I'm sure you can but just wanted to check.

Mines from Argos, think I paid £19.99. Love it. Laminate everything.
Yes you can still photocopy something that is laminated, I've done it a few times!! If it's something important, its always a good idea to photocopy first....just incase the laminator decides to chew it up!!!

Don't laminate baby scan pictures!!!!! I've heard they go black..

Laminating makes colours brighter so they copy really well...

Mine is a cheap and basic machine and works well!

My laminator proved its weight in gold earlier, as did Sparklebox. After an argument over a mini beast word mat - Hey Presto they all have one each.

I have the woolies one and its been great. Seems to take a while to warm up but i am not familiar with laminators so that could be a common thing.

I got my laminating sheets from Rymans when they were 3 for 2. Otherwise they can be expensive. But they have come up before in Poundland, so i tend to stock up if i see them.

Even my own kids love doing pictures and having them laminated - the last ones were pictures of themselves with Daddy to go in his shed!!

Its such fun and you can turn a picture into a place mat etc as a quick activity with something for them to take home.

Mine got used to the limit last week in anticipation of my Ofsted inspection - plenty of hand washing posters and songs etc, House Rules, Trampoline Rules etc etc!!!

I love my laminator - when I first got it I laminated everything in sight, if you stayed still long enough you would have been flattend. Easy to store and wipe clean.
