Default Emergency care - advice please

One of my mums (I look after her school aged dd) needs me to mind her toddler as a one off just on Thursday, do I just need to do a short term contract for this?

    Please advise, thank you!

I've done this for people and its led to more work. Get all paperwork sorted for the child - putting adhoc care rather than hours. Tell mum that as all paperwork is done for the child - ANYTIME she needs care she won't have to worry again about the paperwork - and she can book in as long as you have spaces.

If it's just for the one day I would put on one sheet of paper the childs details, parents details, the date, the times of care, the fee and when due and add a couple of permissions for emergancy treatment, play equipment etc and get all parties to sign.
