I've just been told one of my mindees is about to undergo assesments to confirm autism.
It's been about 10 years since I last worked with autistic children. I feel I need to go on a course or read about the lastest information on this.
I've been working fairly succesfully with this mindee form about 8 months now, but I know there is a lot more I can do to help him now his issues have been accepted.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Your local CIS will be the best place to get course info...
There are some excellent books at the library for adults and here are ideas for books to explain the condition to other children...
