Variation granted........

I have just had my variation granted for 4 under 5, 2 days a week without having my first graded inspection!!!!!!

I applied for the variation and was told I would have to have my inspection before it was granted, prospect phoned me nearly 4 weeks ago asking if I had any early years children but I have not heard any thing since

I phoned Ofsted yesterday to chase up the variation and I got a call back saying it had been accepted

They must be really behind with the inspections

they are a law unto themselves.....i been minding for nearly ten years and rang last week to ask about a variation and was told probably wouldnt get it unless it was for twins/siblings or continuity of care!! i wasnt for any of these it have a full time place available but wanted it so i could have two under 12 months 2 days per week for 12 weeks they said probably wont get it!! wouldnt mind but ive looked after 3 sets of twins!!
