    Default temporary contracts?

A local childminder is having to take time off due to a family tragedy and has passed my number to her parents as she knew I had vacancies. I had one visit today needing me to start tmrw and have agreed to take the mindee on etc but I'm unsure what to do contract wise? I'm guessing I will need to do one for insurance purposes but will my normal contract be ok? Have no idea how long she'll be off for, could be weeks or months.

I would fill in your usual contract but with one week notice period instead of the usual four weeks as you are helping out another cm.
