Default What do I put in an advert?

I am finally getting around to advertising, registered with the local family information service and now want to put up postcard adverts on village notice board, local newsagents etc.

I've designed my logo etc, want to put rough location, ( I am less than 2 mins walk from preschool and school) but wondered what else to put. Does putting OFSTED registered have any bearing, I know every childminder is but do parents know that? I have done specialist safeguarding and know I am the only childminder in the village to do it, should that be on?

My competition is 2 women who have minded in the village for donkeys years and have got all business from word of mouth, which I am hoping will happen to me but..........

    thanks for any advice

    Hello,
I put in ofsted registered, enhanced crb, paediatric first aid any other relevant training like food safety and hygiene or if your past career is relevant, for example, a speech therapist. What is your experience, i.e. 2 years working with preschool kids. Then put in things about your house, do you have a big garden, separate playroom? What education and activities do you do, for example, messy play, writing and reading? Where do you collect from? What are your opening hours and anything else that makes you unique, such as specalist in yoga. Are you Ncma member? You may or may not want to say what you charge or if you have sibling discounts. Also remember to check your contact details really carefully. You could also say what vacancies you have.
    Hope that helps!

it might be worth you asking your local FIS if they upload their providers on their systems to openfamilyservices.org.uk

we have found locally that our providers come up higher in google listings now
