Glad you got what was yours in the first place. Unfortunately it seems a common problem. I'm so sorry you had to go through so much stress.

My parents are late paying AGAIN

and they didn't pay me for last week's toddler group either

. I'm not going to the toddler group this morning as I'm fed up of being treated like a wet lettuce and expected to accept payment on their terms.

I feel so guilty because it's the kids who'll loose out but I'm not being taken for a ride any more. I hate being like this but I'll do activities with the kids at home until payment is forthcoming.

^ Sorry if I came over a bit angry in that post.

It just gets my goat when the parent waltzes in, plonks the kids down, says "see you later" and makes no attempt to pay what's owed.

Now I can't go for our afternoon walk to the bank, which is a lovely walk for me and the kids, because I have no money to pay in! Something else they enjoy doing but can't due to no fault of their own.

i know its so annoying when it comes to parents fee's and we don't really have any comeback and support from the ncma really. i found that even if the parent didnt pay all i could do was give notice, which you subsequently have to work or you become in breach of contract. Again working more for no money!
