what sort of things do you put in yours and do you get the children to add to it?

I am thinking of doing a jack and the bean stalk one,, so far I have a bean stalk height chart, paper finger puppets the children made, the story book,, I will add some story sequencing pics and we have planted beans so will take pics of how they grow to add , what other things could i add?
