    soil & toy tractors?

sunflower seeds for them to plant in the soil (not to grow, just to stick in the soil)

lollipop stick road signs (weighted down on a lump of plasticine) pointing to the different animals or parts of the farm

    fences made from lollipop sticks

damp cotton wool to sprink cress seeds on for quick growing "grass", the scissors to cut it & put in a toy tractor & trailer

You could try and get some artificial grass from the greengrocers and cut to the shape of your tuff spot.

There are some lovely farm activities and crafts here

Ooh yes, artificial grass. If you google free samples of artificial grass you'll find places that send them to you
