Thats a tricky one. Can't really think of anything apart from maybe looking at families and how they can differ and that it does'nt matter how your family is made up. Maybe do family trees or family pictures with the children.

We could do role play about families but it would depend on the age of the child as to how much you would do.

That was my thinking too!

I don't think it's activities that need to be done, it's more an awareness of possible behaviours. That said everyone reacts differently and children are no exception to that!!

What about books from library about different types of families or play puppets talking about feelings
