Default Poorly Mindee, have I done the right thing?

My 11 month old mindee was off it yesterday, wouldn't eat and when he got home his mum said he had a runny bottom.

Anyway he did not sleep last night (he is teething) but he came to me this morning. I have walked and walked with him to settle him but he is still really unselttled.

Dad has just come to pick him up and he gave him a big smile. It's the first time I have had to send anyone home, have I dont the correct thing?

Thanks, I walked with him for 3 hours this morning and thats the only way he would settle other than being sat on my knee.

Why hasn't Gary Barlow come to my rescue yet?

As he had an upset tummy, I would exclude for 48 hours anyway.

I am really strict about this as I hate tummy bugs and wouldnt want myself, my family for my other mindees to catch it.
