    Default Going out in another CM car

    Hiya me and another child minder have planned an outing but my car has broke down. My child minder friend has enough room in her car, if i get parents written permission do you think we will be covered to go in my CM friends car?

    Yes, you'll be OK as long as you have written permission, you travel with them and you ensure that the children are all in appropriate car seats.

    one of the seats only has a lap belt is this ok?

    You'd have to check that out. It guess it depends on the age of the child etc.

    I'm sure lots of cms must use lap belts. Hopefully one of them will come along & tell you what they do.
