    Default After School fee's

I've noticed that a lot of you charge a higher/different rate for your after school care. I had my first enquiry today for after school care and said it was £3.50 per hour (my hourly rate), should I have said a higher rate? I didn't really know that cm's charged a higher rate, i'm pretty sure cm's around here just charge the standard hourly rate, ooh Im not sure what to do now?!?!

You could always say that you have a minimum hours policy though, say two hours.

I charge a session rate to make it worth my while. My usual hourly rate is £4.50 but after school session is £12 (3pm-6pm). It only works out at £4ph but if get picked up early i still charge £12.

I charge a minimum of two hours as it isnt worth doing the school run for £3.50 which is my hourly rate.
