Officially finished with NVQ 3

Oh what a saga. Nobody's fault but my assessor fell seriously ill and so it was all on hold. The coursework was finished but all the fiddly paperwork bits needed done. Plus I had a unit bounced back because I used pictures to prove activities I've done with children and I needed to write about them, instead. So as of today, every last bit from coursework to that dreaded paperwork file with all the diaries and skill scans and tracking sheets is out of my hands and hopefully, out of my life (to reappear in the form of a lovely certificate to frame and hang on the wall!).

I feel happier just knowing I've done everything I need to do and it's finally over.

Plus there's more room on my shelves again, now that the files are gone!

On Sunday, I had one of those "oh my gawd, I've screwed up royally" feelings. I was thinking the TMA was due on the 14th, which would have been Monday and no way to get it there on time. My husband even offered to drive to Colchester and put it through the tutor's front door! I was in a total state when he re-read my study calendar and then laughed at me for the rest of the night. Due the 18th!!!

I have a bad habit of writing up the draft really early, fiddling with it and then decide to leave it for a week or so to come back with fresh eyes. Problem is I then forget to get it in the mail on time!

I handed in another 2 units in this morning so I can also see the end in sight, just have 2 more to go.

You will have room on your shelves for all your EYFS paper work now

I posted mine today... tma1 for e124 and tma3 for e123... productive Easter holidays!

Which optional units are you doing, Nell? I did 316 and 320.

Sarah, have you been happy with your marks for E123 so far? I'm waiting for my results for TMA1 now. Some people on the course have already received their's so I can realistically expect them any day. I feel I did well but now I'm getting all nervous.
