Default Child has spots on forehead, arms and legs.

    Hello

Child was off beginning of the week with tonsilitus. Mum brought child today and he has spots on face, arms, legs. None on his belly etc.

What do you think it could be?

Mum said he had them since Monday and doc dismissed them and just said he had tonsilitus?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

It might be a viral rash caused by the tonsilitus?

Would think it is just a virul rash.

Is the child on antibiotics? Could be an allergy to them.

My DD had this about a week ago. Spots on her legs, thighs, arms, not raised spots just red spots. I noticed them in the afternoon and there seemed more by the time she went to bed but in the morning they had gone. I think it's a viral thing, there's so many bugs around at the moment.

Yes- sounds to me too like a viral rash. LO I look after has them when he is not well and DD has a few times too. Just keep and eye, like the PP said, for an allergy, although in DS and allergy to cyclosporins (pink antibiotics) came out in massive itchy hives-ugghh!
