search your area on google for loacl ones , networks can be found on your local auth website

If you go on Leeds Family Hub you can search your postcode and it brings up childminders in your area - that will give you an idea how many are close to you - you could always contact a couple and have a chat explaining you are considering registering and wanted to know the demand in the area.
