    Default Building risk assessments

    Hi everyone,

We have builders on site and I don't know whether OFSTED require a risk assessment? (We are having a kitchen extension built. It doesn't affect the mindees as I always close the kitchen door, although the builders tend to be outside anyway)

You should inform Ofsted that it is happening and you may need permission from them before children can use the space in the extension.

I'd give them a ring and check out exactly what they want from you

Yes I had to inform Ofsted and send in a risk assessment, then let them know when its finished and send in a request to use the new area.
