    Default CAF

Does everyone keep a full copy of the CAF (90 pages long)? Just wondering if we need the whole thing or if there is a shortened version of it that we can keep...I am due an inspection soon and am just trying to figure out if I have everything recommended.

I would say you don't need a copy unless you are working with a child who has one.

Who has told you that you need it?

I have been emailed a childminding works checklist of all the recommended policies/ paperwork etc. It is 6 pages long lol! It was on there. Not overly bothered if no one else has one! Was just wondering as I wasnt going to print of 90 pages when i dont need it.

hon I would just download it if ever you need it. plus unless you've had full training you can't complete one you just ring the CAF co-ordinator at your local authority so it's good to be aware of but no need to keep the forms.
