I usually just ask for entrance fee and say if the child comes with a few spends we will go to the shop for a souvenir / ice cream... otherwise shops can be avoided.

I ask for entrance fee if it's more than about three pounds and i pay bus fares

I think it all depends on what has been agreed at contract signing and the cost. I build in £6 per week for outings (usually soft play) for the little ones at the beginning and I pay toddler fees but if we go further afield and it costs more than £10 I ask the parents to contribute

I pay all the petrol and parking costs but I do add £1 more onto each of the ticket prices to help
