    Default Unused areas?

    Me again sorry !

Do I need to risk assess areas that will not be accessible by mindees? For example my brick shed/outhouse. I have put a large lock and padlock on it and will not have it open during minding hours

    Thanks

When I had my pre-reg I told the lady which rooms I would not be using for minding which were my childrens bedrooms and she didnt even look in there. So I would say you wouldnt risk assess if you're not ever going to use it

I would just mention somewhere that you have not done a full RA and why just to show that you have thought about it and made it safe for the children

I would put it in your Garden Risk Assessment and forget about it. Just say low risk as it is locked.

The end so no need to check each day
