1 cup plain flour
1 cup water
1 tablespoon of cooking oil (I use baby oil - find it better!)
half cup salt
1 tablespoon cream of tartar

food colouring

stir over medium heat til it all comes together.

We just made some lovely orange dough (mixed red and yellow colouring) very autumnal

kids loved it.

They have been busy sticking conkers in it and making leaf prints

We made red and brown playdough the other day for the colours of autumn and used leaves, acorns etc.

It was great fun!

I made some yesterday morning -still warm when mindees arrived

Pink with strawberry food flavouring added so nice smelling too

I put either lavender or orange essenced in mine , depending whether i want to calm them down or zing them up!
