After me saying that I wasn't going for it and blah blah....

The CCF/Accreditation assessor came out to me 2 weeks ago and we received offical confirmation that we have been Approved and Accredited as a Network.

As soon as the wheels of red tape chug into motion, I will be the first minder in town to offer the NEG immediately to a child who is on my waiting list.

Worcestershire has all changed and we are now what the NCMA call a "Lighter Touch" network having started as a CCF accredited network.
The LA is in charge and to continue to be accredited we have to agree to be audited using FECCRS.
I quite like this and will be interested to see how it pans out. Some accredited minders are not happy as we have lost the high level of support from a network co-ordinator and many benefits. As the CCF network is accredited to run till 2012 the arguement is that we have just been told of the changes without consultation and it is not what our agreements as members state.
