Any ideas? Ive got some cooking stuff ( I do a mean paella with chicken and chorizo)and some printouts, some flags, maracas and some music. Are pinata's from Spain? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

You could make papier mache maracas flamenco dancing bull fighting (maybe not) pretend to be matadors look for dressing up costumes
use some travel brochures for collages map of spain and put on cities which fruits etc are grown in spain mark on map taste them etc
All seems a bit jumbled sorry

i thought of a of a piece of A3 black card and putting things on their that remind us of april
international book day

these are good for older ones but what about little ones?

That's a lovely idea
Why not have two boards then you can have one for the older ones with the festivals etc on and one for the younger ones with more crafty things on
so
April showers - rain/clothes to wear in rain/umbrellas/welly boots etc - you could cut out shapes or find colouring pictures for all of those for the children to decorate
Flowers - which ones are out now - daffodils/primroses etc - make some paper flowers
Pets (for pet month) I've asked mine to bring photos of their pets so I can make a display

Parents were invented to make children happy by giving them something to ignore.
How about making shakers like maracas, yoghurt pots glued together with dried peas inside!
They are spanish aren't they!!?
